Whenever I play games with greater-than-average simulation (e.g. BeamNG, Spintires, Forza Horizon 4), they inevitably crash after a while of playing. The amount of time that passes before a crash ranges from long (sometimes not even crashing before I quit in the case of BeamNG) to less than a minute (FH4).
As a result of this, I haven't been able to actually start the main gameplay of it, which is incredibly frustrating. When BeamNG crashes, it throws a "Fatal GPU Error", but I don't think my GPU is the problem. This is because I have tried all these games with two GPUs - the one that came with my computer (an MSI GTX 1050) and the one I got as an upgrade (a Zotac 1060 6GB) - but the problem persists. Even though I got the 1060 second hand (stupid, I know), I think 'what are the chances that they both have the same specific error?'. That's why I think it's more likely that it's something else in my computer causing the crashes. Is there any way I can find out what's causing this (be it the graphics cards or anything else)?
Basic specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Motherboard: ASRock AB350M Pro4
GPU(s): MSI GTX 1050 2GB/Zotac 1060 6GB (second hand :/)
