I have recently got a 144hz Gsync monitor. I have been trying out games on it and have come across constant stuttering in every game I play. Its even worse when I have gsync off. I have vsync on in NVCP and Gsync and I have Vsync of in game. Nothing seems to work. I even put the graphical settings down to the lowest preset and I still get stuttering. nothing seems to work.

My Specs:
Gtx 1070 SC
I5 6600k 4.0ghz
16gb Vengeance Ram
All temps are normal and the CPU overclock is stable.

Since getting into PC Gaming I have been plagued with problems, the Evil Within 2 came out today and it stutters like crazy no matter which settings I put it on. Hope someone can help.

There is a possibility you killed a mosquito with a sledgehammer(3 pound) instead of a flyswatter. When you go into Origin you can click on Origin>Application Settings>Origin In Game tab...
I have a MSI GTX 1080 displaying to Dell 1440p 144hz Gsync TN panel, Gsync and 144hz works flawlessly.

To enable and use Gsync in-game:
Nvidia Control Panel ->3D settings -> Vysnc -> On
Nvidia Control Panel ->3D Settings -> Screen technology -> Gsync
Nvidia Control panel -> Gsync -> Enable for Fullscreen & Borderless windowed mode
(PC Game) -> Video settings -> Vysnc -> Off

What games have you tried? League of Lengends, Hearthstone, Skyrim, Fallout and Valve games for example.

Have you installed the correct driver?

Yep I have all of those settings correct. and I have tried games like BF1, BF4, Tomb raider, The evil within 1 and 2, Shadow of mordor, Titanfall 2, Ryse son of rome, Batman Arkham knight, CS GO.....all stutter regardless of settings. temps all fine. and latest drivers all up to date.

It turns out to have been origin for some strange reason. I found this out by uninstalling the biggest culprit of stuttering which was bf1 do I uninstalled that and origin. Next thing I know my other games got no stutter. So I thought okay let's install origin again and try battlefield 1 as maybe something had fixed my issue so I'm going to try battlefield 1 again. And then again stuttering started on battlefield 1. So I tried my other games and stuttering on this aswell. So I uninstalled bf1 and origin and all my games work fine. So strange!

The engines aren't identical. It doesn't seem to be an online only issue. It was solved by removing Origin so it would stand to reason a setting within Origin is causing this issue. I would chat with Origin and figure out why this is happening.
