Hello, I've decided to build my own gaming pc. This if my first time building one, so I'm completely confused by all different build's i've seen on the internet.

Approximate Purchase Date: This week.

Budget Range: 700$ after rebates, can go up to 800$ if it makes a big difference.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, watching movies, surfing the internet.

Parts Not Required: Keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS, optical drive.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Would prefer to order from the same site to lower the shipping costs, but I can order from any site as long as they are reliable.

Country of Origin: US.

Parts Preferences: by brand or type: As is said I don't know a lot about computers, so I'm open to suggestions.

Overclocking: Maybe, if it is not that complicated then yes.

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, I believe this is for more expensive PCs, but I would like to be able to do it in the future, I can do without it tough.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I would like a quiet PC without a lot of lights.
Thank you.

The 2500K is unlocked and can be over clocked , but otherwise they are identical

A GTX 460 for nearly $200 is a very bad buy . Much slower and older tech and not worth that much .

With $700 to spend you can build an intel sandybridge computer
i5 2400
p67 mb
2 x2 gig of RAM
Radeon 6950 or GTX 560 ti

You cant over clock but its a powerful system anyway , and the processor wont be the limiting factor in games . You will even hit your budget

The OP doesnt need an OS either . Thats inflated the cost of your build so it looks terrible value next to the components in the one I suggested

Another question. I've decided to delay buying the GPU for two weeks, so I'll need to rely on the mobo for video, does the gigabite outlander suggested includes one? And if it doesn't could you sugget one that does. Thank you.
