I have an Anda Seat Gaming Chair that I'm really struggling to remove the cylinder from the base of the chair. I have followed all the usual tips found online and on youtube, and i put some wd-40 on the edges from both sides that connect the cylinder with the base to let it get inside as much as it can. Any additional tips from someone? Thank you very much in advance!

I always just used a rubber mallet to knock it out after inverting the chair. Most of those gas cylinders just slip fit inside a slightly tapered hole in the chair's legs. Maybe next time you should apply a light amount of lube in that tapered hole when assembling.

I would think the main two factors that cause a cylinder to be hard to remove would be the hole not being as smooth as it should be, and user weight. In extreme cases a block of wood to protect the cylinder and a steel mallet might be necessary.
