My OS is only 32bit and i have bought gta v but have then found out that you need 64bit to play it, i'm not that bothered but is it really stupid to try and game on 32bit Win7? I know the RAM issue but i was hoping when Microsoft bring out windows 10 could i just upgrade to 64bit for free? are all games only 64bit compatible ? :'(

Yes you can put an OS on a USB.

In that case it's either an OEM or MSDN license. Apparently from what I've read that MS link I posted rarely works :??:

No problem. Just Google for Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on Amazon or other online e-tailers.

USB? Not sure what you mean.....

Yes I tried the MS site again and it won't verify my retail key either. I suspect they want us all on Windows 10 and they don't want to help those who have Windows 7. That's my take on it anyway.

I hope you get that 64 bit version up and running. 😉

Microsoft no longer offers ISO downloads or media builder options for OEM versions of the Windows 7 software. If you have an OEM key but no longer have the restore partition or have changed motherboards, you will need to buy new installation media or a new product key. They do provide support for retail versions still, but not OEM.

I didn't say the OEM key wasn't valid. I simply reiterated Microsoft's policy regarding the fact that THEY are no longer providing ISO downloads to anybody who does not have a retail key. So long as you have a valid product key that has been registered to your system, chiefly the motherboard, and can obtain installation media, then you're perfectly within the licensing restriction guidelines and should be capable of using any Windows 7 media of the equivalent version that you previously had installed.
