Here is the list of parts I'm considering.
I already have the motherboard, case and power supply.
The CPU, CPU cooler, RAM, and GPU are the components I'm thinking of getting. I just added in the existing parts to ensure everything is compatible.

I'm aiming to be able to play new AAA games on max settings at 1080p 60FPS.
Please could I get some advice on whether my build can do this? And a suggested build if my build won't cut it?
I will be looking to buy the items within a week or so and I ideally want to spend as little as possible to get the result I'm after.
I also have a 1TB hard drive. Should I also buy an SSD? If so, please could you recommend one?
Oh and no water cooling please!

Thanks in advance,
Anthony

I would stick with a first gen CPU as you don't know if the motherboard BIOS has been updated enough to use second gen.

This is what I'd get with your existing parts (minus the PSU). They will play newer AAA games on higher settings at 1080P. Make sure AXMP is enabled in the BIOS so that the memory runs at 3000mhz which makes a big difference in performance.

Add a GTX 1660 Ti or RTX 2060 GPU to your list and you will easily be able to play AAA games at Max settings at 1080p/60 fps.
I had that same Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming MB and Ryezen 5 2600 (OC'd to 4 GHz) with an MSI GTX 1660 Ti Armor (see my signature) and I was getting any where from 80 to 120+ fps on current games at max settings at 1080p.
I also used that Viper Elite 26666 Mhz RAM before I upgraded to G.Skill Tridentz RAM and it worked well, I even OC'd it to 2866 MHz using the Ryzen DRAM Calculator.
A 16 GB 3000 or 3200 Mhz kit would be better BUT that 8 GB kit will work fine.

If you are going to OC the CPU, I recommend that you get a decent 4 or 6 pipe aftermarket cooler for it though.
