Hey guys, finally taking the plunge for a new system and was hoping to test out the build with your collective wisdom. Primary purpose here is gaming. Leaning towards i7-6700 versus i7-5820, and was recently convinced to do a single NVIDIA 980ti 6GB instead of SLI 970s.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated, in particular (1) anything in there that's wasteful or stupid, (2) does motherboard maximize investment currently/in the future, (3) is this the right choice for graphics card and CPU to maximize long term investment and performance, (4) 32GB of 16x2 2800mhz RAM overkill or better 16GB @ 3000mhz and (5) planning on Cyberpowerpc as the best value to build this I've found but anyone have a site they think is better

About motherboard investment... Thunderbolt 3 is now included in a total of three motherboard models, maybe you might be interested in that (although all three are top-tier models and thus very expensive, nothing to compare to a 'normal' motherboard)
