Yes I have a 512 X-Rom got it a few days ago. I have not had any
problems with it at all. As this is my first purchase of such a
product I can't say if it is the best, but the price/size was what got
my attention. I have played several games on it, no problems, except
with the "classic NES' series they do not work with flash roms, so i
am told.

I received mine too yesterday! Very quickly, less than 5 days to
Italy.
No problems me too - except for simcity2000 that I really would like
to solve, it's one of my favorites... can you try it and let me know
if it's a common problem?

the first one i bought was defective so i returned it. the replacement
arrived last friday and still seems to be working well. you should
check out www.help-forums.com (the GBA product support forum) if you
want to see the kinds of issues people are having with the x-rom 512.
