Hi, i'm curious between the performance of DDR3 vs DDR5 in GPU memory types. Which is better, 2GB of GDDR3 or 1GB of GDDR5? the GPU is a GeForce GT 630 128-bit bus.

Solution
1GB GDDR5 is definitely preferable over 2GB of GDDR3 (or DDR3 for that matter). The memory bandwidth affects performance directly, and the GDDR5 has much higher memory bandwidth. Memory capacity only matters once you run out, and the GT 630 is too weak for situations that use more than 1GB VRAM, so extra VRAM beyond 1GB doesn't really help.

the gddr5 is way miles better than the ddr3 go for the gddr5 whenever you are buying a card

A GeForce GT 630 is what you give your grandmother when her onboard video breaks.
The performance of this card is on par with the current intel 4600 integrated.

The geforce card is only 13 points higher than the intel 4600.

You never said you intended on using this for gaming but if you want to game go for at least a Geforce 750 ti

Which by the way scored 3687 versus 728 of the Geforce 630
