Ge Force 6600GT PCI -Express

Hya, I have been hearing different views on the 6600Gt pci e , the question is - Does this card need to be plugged to the PSU ? Some people have said it takes it power from the PCI E bus and so does not need the power from the PSU others say it needs both. :?:

no pci express cards take the power direct from the motherboard, I have never in my time seen any graphics card that needs to be plugged to a power socket from the power pack.

no run dual 6600GT's and neither is connected to a cable for power, just slide em into the slot and you are done.
