Its looking pretty good with the GDDR 4 ram and the fact that they recommend a 400watt and up psu if you have many internal devices installed maybe I can get to skim by on my 350watt psu. This is gonna be my next video card if all goes well *prays*. :D

Also the people at gpureview have put a up page detailing the final specs like shader operations etc.

ps. how much power does a 6600GT use?

Well, coming from a 6600gt user, the card doesn't use much more than 40w at most, considering the 7600gt uses something like 50w at load. But why would you want an hd 2600xt? If it's performance is similar to that of the gt, then it will be a complete waste of your money because the x1950xt demolished the 8600ultra. Unless if you must have dx10, I recommend either waiting or getting an x1950xt

I was seriously thinking of an 1950PRO or XT but then I see my self forking out a other $200-300au at the start of next year for a dx10 card when I could spend that money on a new cpu, ram and motherboard even a new harddrive also because I'm a high school student who doesn't have a job and doesn't want a job that pays $5.75 an hr so money is very scarce at the moment.
