Question Is the Intel CPU fix just a matter of updating the motherboard BIOS ?

Hello, I just received a replacement 14900k CPU from Intel, as the 13900k had burned out due to the infamous issues with them. The first thing I did was update the BIOS of my
Asus RoG Hero Maximum 790Z motherboard to the latest version.

I expected everything to finally be fine, but now the computer is once again cutting power when placed under load - just as it used to do with the previous CPU. I'm not getting blue screens, but I'm concerned I may be killing this CPU too now.

Was the Intel 13th - 14th gen fix just an matter of updating the mobo BIOS or is there something else I need to do ?

Is your current bios version 2703? What is the temperature of the CPU under load? During which activity did the cutting power occur?
Thanks, my AIO cooler says that the CPU peaks at 57 degrees, and yus, the motherboard bios is 2703.

I did reseat the CPU and noticed two pretty badly bent pins. Not sure how I managed to do that, but I'd almost assume that might be the cause of it.

Event viewer also tells me the Power Kernel 41 critical failure is consistently associated with this problem.

Sorry if that's irrelevant. I'm not super learned on this stuff.
