Question Geforce 7050m-m mobo dead?

Hi guys,

I had this PC that I built many years ago and had intended to keep it as a legacy local pc but then the motherboard developed a fault.

The motherboard powers on but there's no post. Cpu fan starts and that's about it.

I've done all the usual checks, unplugged all the peripherals and accessories and put it back to just 24pin ATX and 4pin 5v and shorted the pins to power on but still nothing. I've changed the CMOS battery, removed CMOS battery all together, reseated the CPU, swapped ram around and removed ram nothing seems to work.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Sounds like the mobo is DOA. Check eBay to find the same make/model.

Given its age, not really, other than swapping the PSU as it, too, is likely ancient (n a good way) if installed at the same time as the motherboard.

Oh yeah sorry, I forgot to say I borrowed a newer PSU to test the motherboard just in case that was the issue and still nothing.

I guess I've tried everything then?
