GeForce 8800GTX What processor and Mobo should I get?

I was looking at it from a ventilation point of view. With the PSU mounted at the bottom you’re not going to be helping the GPU and CPU stay cool in an already tight case, and if he goes SLI with 8800's it'll be like a small oven or space heater.
PS BTW my second 8800GTX arrives tomorrow. 😀 😀 😀 😀

Thanks to all the help so as far my system is starting to look like:

PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 EPS12V EPS12V 750W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, ULC, CE, CB, RoHS
$209.99

$229.99

ASUS EN8800GTX/HTDP/768M GeForce 8800GTX 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card
$639.99

EVGA nForce 680i SLI NVIDIA Socket 775 ATX Motherboard / Audio / PCI Express / SLI / Dual Gigabit LAN / S/PDIF / USB 2.0 & Firewire / Serial ATA / RAID
$249.99

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M sharing L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor
$320.00

Creative SOUND BLASTER X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card
$182.99

Which puts me just under $2.2k

Now I just need some final revisions and tweaks and to figure out what case would be the best for me in this situation. Any suggestions? That one case looked nice but as others pointed out going SLI would be real tough in a case that small.
