geforce fx 5600 and xp

i cant see my geforce card on my pc the display works but not for 3d games
any more, it tells mew the card only works in win2k/xp driver mode now how do
i get vga back working on my pc ?

a) Ensure you have the latest drivers from nVidia (61.76) www.nvidia.com

b) Ensure you have the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft

Have you tried system restore or re-install the Geforce drivers.

Try uninstalling the current drivers using add/remove programs and
rebooting pc..upon reboot install the latest drivers from www.nvidia.com
and ensure that you disable all antivirus software prior to installing.
once installed reboot and all should be well.
