Lower TDP and crappier RAM (but still not horrible RAM). Will be interesting to compare this to the 7850...

But ultimately, this will come down to price. If this thing goes for 300, it is still a no go.

Wait... Same amount of CUDA cores (as 670) ? hmm Sounds like it'll be a valiant performer. I hope its priced well!

I believe its already on presale for 300$ . I'm making a big assumption that this is the reference model so the aftermarket models should be at least 310$. its not challenging the 7850, its challenging the performance of the 7870 as well as the 7950.

Car repairs? Futon? Reduction in the number of channels on your TV subscription?

just bite the bullet and get prepared for some couch time.... you can always move the computer to the TV and play all night long anyways if you are going to be booted to the couch :D

I figured this news will be on Tom's in no time.

The GTX 660 Ti is looking quite capable, though no benchmarks are available...though, with Kepler, I think NVidia has systematically locked down the $500, $400 price segments, and the $300 price segment will most likely follow.

My worries are about the success of the 670 as it reaches the level of the 680 for 100 bucks less. Making the 670 the go to card when the 680 does not off much more for 100 bucks. How does this card fit in? At 300 bucks it will need to deal with the likes of the 7870 and cause the gtx 570 to drop in price a good bit.

So:

680: 500
670: 400
660ti: 300

Where do the prices on the 580 and 570 go?

No need for price drop, will just be sold out.

I Personally I don't believe that 660 Ti is going to be same as 670 except memory bus., it does't make sense. Moreover it would not take them that long just to redesign memory
