GeForce1 DDR beats GeForce2MX400?

I read the article "VGA charts" here on THG, and I noticed that the GeForce 256 DDR is way faster than the GeForce2MX 400 32 (Both cards, which I have).
I haven't been able to see such a gap as the article stated, but isn't the GeForce2mX 400 supposed to be faster than GeForce 256 DDR?
I do, however, run win98se atm, but thinking about upgrading to winxp... could win98se be the reason why I don't see any noticable difference? I have tried with several detonate drivers.

some info about the cards and their strenghts/weaknesses would be much appreciated

No, the GeForce 1 DDR is indead faster than the GeForce2 MX400, simply because it has TWICE the memory bandwidth. Also, the TNT2 is twice as fast as the TNT2 M64, and about 20% faster than the GeForce2 MX200, when you clock both to the same memory speed. They all use 6ns memory, the MX200 and TNT2 M64 at 64-bits, the TNT2 and GeForce2 MX400 at 128 bits, the GeForce DDR and GeForce2 GTS at DDRx128bits.
