General overclocking questions.

Ok, first up:

I am running an i7-750 @ 3510MHz, 175MHz*20, but i'm looking to see how far I can push this.

How do I go about fine tuning CPU voltages, as in how do i know how much I need/want to use?

At what temperatures should I start worrying? At 3.5GHz I am currently sitting just under 70^C. I have a Noctua NH-U12P SE2 fan, so I think i can push this a little higher.

Is 80^C normal for a Radeon HD 5870? Is it normal for a GPU to not be able to clock very high? (Tried a +100MHz clock and got artifacts, so i turned it back down to default).

RAM - I run a set of G.Skill Ripjaws PC1333, and wish to know what the ideal CAS settings are. Mine are currently at 9-9-9-24, and i think the "Best" settings are 7-7-7-21.

For the CPU I think you should arm yourself with these pieces of info:
1. i7 Overclocking guide
2. Max Vcore for the CPU
3. Max temp for the CPU

The max voltage for the CPU i already know is 1.375v, just not sure what the max temperature is and when to use what amount of voltage.

Do a search for Intel Processor Finder. That should tell you the max temp.

Make sure you understand the difference between Tcase and Tjunction and what temp you are reading. Try RealTemp, that should give you a good idea of where you're at.

So in something like Everest TCase would be the Generic CPU Temperature, not the Core temperatures right?

So if Core (TJunction) is 80 at full load and my overall CPU temperature is also 80^C, is this a problem?

First of all, Tcase means nothing, your processor doesn't have a sensor that can accurately measure the Tcase temperature. You need to use "core" temps and YES 80c is too hot.
