What can be said about the strengths, weaknesses, and value of each of these internal hdd's:

Generally, does one brand offer greater value for the dollar? Is one brand known for a particular strength or weakness? Suppose that for $80 you had the choice of 1TB Hitachi 7200, Seagate Barracuda ES.2 250GB 7200, or the WD Caviar Black 640GB 7200 -- which would you select?

Your best bet would be to check out the various charts and benchmarks here on Tom's. It all depends on what you want, i.e. do you want storage, performance for an OS, etc...?
