Question Getting BSODs

Good day, I'm currently having trouble with blue screens. My PC was working fine until about the last week of April where blue screens occur at random times. I suspect that it's a hardware problem, specifically my HDD but it and all of the parts are relatively new. I tried a few fixes I saw online first before deciding to reinstall windows. Blue screens still persists even with a fresh install. I might do another reinstall.

I tried:

sfc
DISM
Windows reinstall
Driver updates
Windows update

What about a loose connection inside the PC?

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Then carefully inspect all cables (plugs and ports), cards, RAM, and jumper's using bright flashlight. Look any signs of damage: conductor showing through the wire insulation, cracks in plugs, pinched or kinked wires, etc..

Check each component visually and by feel (apply gentle rocking and pressure) to ensure that it is fully and firmly seated.

I cleaned everything and checked for damages, there are none. Everything is fully and firmly seated.

Got it while playing a game. I thought that it's the disk again because the game is installed in D: but thing is that I have other games installed there and I had no problems while playing them besides the random freezes (no crashes). Well, I am not sure about it and I tested it with Seatools and a lot of disk checks. My primary suspect is still the RAM.

the actual cause is being a real nuisance. Tempted to go on strike until BSOD reports actually show me a cause. Its so rare... runs off crying

Memtest isn't perfect. You could run Prime 95 to get a second opinion - https://www.mersenne.org/download/

as it checks both ram and CPU.

I tried running the bsod collection app but i got a blue screen while running it, the same memory management. I might try Prime 95. The BSODs are very random.

Ahh.. when I have the budget, I'll get a new RAM and check if my current RAM is at fault or not. We had a lot of power surges here due to storms and intense heat before that so either or both are probably the cause of the RAM and the previous HDD faults.

Edit: Got one then another "two in a row", I'm a bit confused now if there are something wrong with the other HDD.

I want to ask just to make sure, does a faulty RAM also cause the Unexpected Store Exception BSOD?

your 1st error above mentions NETIO.sys, and ndis.sys - both of these are Windows drivers used for internet.

can you remove kaspersky while we look for cause, if anything it will remove possible causes.


Strange the pc stopped showing bios info about the pc. The first few crashes showed what bios you were on but ever since you updated, its not showing anything. Did you update chipset drivers at same time? https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H110M-D/HelpDesk_Download/

so if it helps they are all actions in virtual memory, which is ram. It doesn't mean its hardware, it can still be drivers as they all seem to be interactions between storage & ram, which is normal...
