Yo

I have a logging in problem on windows xp, as soon as i log in it just logs me out. I found a guide on the internet to fix this by using the windows xp cd to go into the reocvery console and do various things to fix this.

I finally got to the recovery console and i was typing 'cd' to get to the system 32 folder but it said it didnt exist which confused me. I checked the BIOS and it was recognising the hard drive, i then just restarted and booted from cd and now it doesn't even recognise there is a drive there. Funnily enough when i put the hardrive on the top for boot priorty it loads up windows fine and i'm back to square 1 with the logging in issue :S

what the hell??

cheers for your time!

Seems that you have to reinstall the OS. :(
After Installing OS don't pay any money for any antivirus programs!
Download & Install the following 3 freewares. It forms a free complete security suite for your system!
1. Avira Anvivir - http://www.free-av.com/en/download/index.html .
Avira has very good internet security, real time updates, great overall protection.

2. Malwarebytes - http://www.malwarebytes.org/ .
Malwarebytes is one of the best malware scanners.

3. Ccleaner - http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download .
Ccleaner is a great all purpose tool. The most useful tool is probably the registry cleaner.
