Hey guys. I had to make a new account as I don't have the foggiest idea what the email was to my old one. I haven't been on here in a while and would like a little advice. I'll start with my system specs.

Core i7 2700k@4.8ghz
Asus Maximus V Formula
16gb Corsair Vengeance
GTX780Ti X2
Corsair AX1200i

My current display is an Asus VG248QE and I was planning on getting two more to try Nvidia Surround. I found a good deal on another 780Ti for $400. Should I go for it?

Yeah, Nvidia Surround uses 3 displays in certain games.

If i was you, i would sell those 780tis on ebay for example, and then get a 980 or 2 if you can afford it, because simply, sli struggles and has its bugs, but tri-sli, will be so buggy its mad, therefore id recommend you stick to 2 cards max, BUT, im pretty damn sure your 2 780tis will run all 3 of those monitors just fine, ive got a single 290 and it will run a 120hz 1440p screen nicely, so i think your 780tis which beat mine in benchmarks, will be just fine for triple monitors

You're probably right.. but I paid retail when these came out and have a certain attachment to them. Probably sounds ridiculous heh. I haven't came close to maxing them with the single monitor. But I am effectively tripling the resolution with 3 monitors and I'm not running all of my games above 120fps with the single monitor. I feel like they would struggle jumping up to three. I guess all in all, I don't want to regret passing up the deal.

The human eye really only sees 60FPS anyways.

I'll have to disagree to a certain extent. Jumping from 60 to 120 is a huge difference in smoothness. But no I am not aiming for 120fps. Just saying at the moment I struggle to keep above 120. Going from 1-3 would cut frames by a third right?

I guess I wouldn't know since I play games on 30FPS all my life and never bugged me.

No worries man. But like I said in my above edit, I am not aiming for 120 with the 3 monitors. Just 60.

Battlefield 4 and Mechwarrior Online for now. I don't see the point on running medium with this kind of card so I'll be using max settings.
