Probably somewhere around 280$Ca on kijiji or craigslist LOL I hope the 5870 ligntning does 1000 or more and 1400 memory as claimed ,thats if I can find one in Canada, found some brand new cheap Sapphire 5870,thats why. The 5970 is really really overkill for a single 1080p monitor and I felt bad about using 300w and not using full card potential. Im trying to find the highest ocble one lol my current 5850 is at 975/1300 but thats off topic

If you know at what price I am getting the 5870 you would do it too 😉
Same price as a 5850.If I had 1k$, I would have gotten a 30inch 2560x1600 and kept the 5970 otherwise its a waste, I was just mad to see the price gouging on the 5870 at 499$Ca when in stock that I took the 5970 for 629$Ca.

I disagree. Metro has no multiplayer, only single player, and a good player can easily beat the game in 10 hours, at with point there is no reason to ever play it again due to a lack of MP.

Now don't get me wrong, some non-MP games, like Oblivion, but Oblivion had a 500+, or arguably 1000+ hour gameplay time, to the Metro 2033 gameplay of 10 hours.

10 hours is not anything bad considering the type of game it is. Why compare an RPG to a FPS in play time? You'll always see a huge discrepancy in playtime if you compare those two genres in that way.

As for multiplayer, Crysis had mediocre MP as does most decent or good FPS. The ones that have good MP generally don't do much with the single player i.e. Battlefield, as the single player isn't really compelling enough to play. The main reason I like Metro is it has that dark Half-life setting, with a pseudo survival horror (I have to emphasis Pseudo in that area as its not a true survival horror game) type of setting.

Look , every1 has their tasts both games are very demanding, Crysis is brigh,Metro is dark. I guess we yet have to see Crysis 2, I just Hope its NOT a Console Port!!

When don't you guys get screwed in Canada on computer parts. Every time I try helping a friend from Toronto build a PC, I always have to make fun of him as it is usually much cheaper to get here.

Yeah I understand the subjectivity of video games, its like that with most entertainment. But I couldn't disagree less with the comparison he made, I felt it wasn't far at all. If you're going to compare play time of Metro to something else then compare it to Crysis.

If you believe Fallout 3 is JUST an FPS then you're sorely mistaken, this was my point.... I didn't play anything else other than the original Crysis MP, guess I shouldn't have made that assumption.

Did I say Fallout 3 was "just" a FPS?

It's a semi-horror/fps/rpg hybrid, and works quite well, I have it, and love it.

100x better and longer than Metro.
