Question Gigabyte AORUS ELITE AC randomly turned off, and now the decorative LEDs just flash every 4 seconds but nothing else happens

Hi all, I was playing Dota2 around a week ago and my computer randomly turned off. I thought it was odd and went to turn it back on but nothing

I’ve since replaced the PSU as I thought this may be the problem but it has not fixed it.

CPU: Intel 10600k
Mobo: Gigabyte Aorus Elite AC
GPU: 7800XT
PSU: RM750 and HX850
Cooler: Corsair H100i
RAM: 4x8gb Corsair 3800mhz DDR4

I have since removed the mobo from the case and have tried breadboarding it. Changed all the ram between the slots etc. Removed the CPU, replaced it. Reset the CMOS. Nothing.

I am at a bit of a loss of what to do next to be honest. After ruling out the PSU it feels like the mobo must just be dead unless someone else has any other ideas?

My 24 pin and 8 pins are plugged in too 😀

Many thanks

Update: I left it for 30 mins and then flicked the PSU switch on and off. The fans on my GPU spun for like 0.1s and the motherboard looked like it tried to turn on. But not consistently or ever getting past this stage. The light going on every 4s has now stopped too.

Thank you for that. So.

I’ve taken everything off and out bar the CMOS battery, 24 pin and 8 pin cables.

I’ve formatted a USB as FAT32, extracted the bios from gigabyte. This just had one file in it (not exactly the same as the video…), I renamed it GIGABYTE.bin. I plugged it into the white USB socket. Powered on the GPU via the switch. Pressed the Q flash button but nothing occurs. I can see the q flash LED but no light. Anything I’ve done fundamentally wrong?

Thanks for your help.
