I got a new Gigabyte motherboard for a Ryzen 7 2700x and everything lights up (rgb leds, fans start spinning etc) but the pc doesn’t post. I have switched out the ram and the power supply and the motherboard itself. I am helpless Don’t know what to do. I had noticed that I forgot to push down the wraith rgb cooler with the nob that is on it. Maybe the cpu overheated because it didn’t make contact? Also already tried resetting bios and cmos battery

PSU: Corsair 750W 80+ Gold Unit Modular (RM750 or something) and a be quiet System power 9 500W
CPU: R7 2700X
RAM: G Skills trident Z rgb C16 3000 MHz and Corsair dominator platinum rgb 3200 both 16gb kits
GPU: GTX 1070 although I already took it out

Its not going to boot without the gpu, so put that back in.

Make sure the CPU pins arent bent.
Wait what I read that it should boot without the gpu. Ok I’ll definitely try putting the gpu back in although I already had the gpu in the first few times and it didn’t change anything. I’ll post an update after I tried that when I’m back home
