Hi there. I got the 9800X3D to replace my 3900X. New motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus X670 Elite AX Rev. 1.3. DDR5 RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Royal 6400MHz 96GB (2x48GB).
I have installed everything correctly, used Q-Flash+ to update to the latest BIOS (FB3d), powered on, and got a black screen. I thought the problem might be with my monitor, as the VGA LED light was red. I tried another monitor, but the behavior repeated. Then I tried using only one RAM stick (removed one from slot B2 and left one in A2). I successfully booted with one stick, but running with only one stick is not ideal. Tried two sticks in A1 and A2 - success. But I need a dual channel, so I tried reverting to a previous BIOS version, but nothing changed.
MB CPU socket pins look fine? Yes, I checked every pin before installation and rechecked afterward, and they appear perfect.
What I want is to either fix the problem on-site or identify the faulty component (what it could be?) and get a replacement.
