Gigabyte DS3 only has 1 fan ?

I set up my Gigabtye DS3 and the only fan i have connected it the CPU fan.

I bought another fan to keep it cooler... but i dont see where to put it.. there is a similar slot but that has 4 pin type things and the end of this new fan only has 3?

whats going on? surely it has room for at least 1 more fan?

Just the 1.

4 pin is for Intel P4 CPU fan.

and no extracting fan or one bringing air in ?

My S3 board has two fan connectors. 1 for CPU and 1 for system fan, I'd have to imagine the DS3 would be basically the same setup.

You can use a 3-pin fan on the 4-pin connector, just be sure you put the plug on the right way. The 4th pin of the connector is used for speed control or something like that on certain models of fans. Both the CPU and the SYS plug have 4 pins on my board.

The SYS fan plug is between the FDD connector and the #4 DIMM slot - at least on the S3 board.
