GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 rev 3.3 not working with compatible pc2 6400s/u memory

I bought this motherbaord so i didnt have these problems because the motherboard supports up to 800mhz or pc2-6400 ram but when i get into windows it bluescreens with ERROR : MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and ive looked this up but cant find anything on why this ram and my motherboard aren't working together.. also it is a 4x2gb kit with 2 sticks saying pc2-6400u and other 2 saying pc2-6400s but i thought pc2-6400s was sodimm but also im getting PFN_LIST_CORRUPT as a blue screen (windows 7 pro 64 bit)

and you post the exact model of the ram. or the link to ram on where you bought it from?

and what is the cpu?

6400u is unbuffered where 6400s is registered (server) memory, remove the 6400s sticks and see if the error persists.

according to gigabyte they list 1GB sticks not 2GB, but crucial.com shows 8GB max in 4x 2GB

I bought this ram at first and it came as pc2-6400u which is what i want and then because it worked fine i bought it again and received pc2-6400s
I have now contacted seller about a refund, just got to play the waiting game on getting a response

Yes, i have requested a refund and i have just tried my 2x2gb pc2-6400u with a 2x1gb kit of just pc2-6400 and it seems it cant go to 800mhz but both are 6400 but it actually got to windows and i was able to play some games to test stability, it crashed once because of other reasons not really to do with the computer more to do with me having a power cut thanks for your help ! much appreciated
