I'm new here and need your expertise. I have an Intel. i3 cpu 3.3ghz, windows 7 PC, with a Gigabyte motherboard GA-H61M-S2PV.

I bought a new graphic card "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti", installed and started the system and installed the drivers from the CD. Now, this might be helpful in resolving, although i could not figure if related, what I didn't do prior to installing new card is remove the old internal graphic card drivers. I did that afterwards. My graphic card works fine, even in games, no issues.

The problem: What happened is that when the computer is restarted it gets stuck displaying the Gigabyte logo before it posts. Its sits there for approx. 1 minute before screen changes to windows 7 logo and then asks me to log on.

It seems like eternity waiting for screen to go away. Any ideas how I can resolve this?

I download from http://www.gigabyte.us/support-downloads/Utility.aspx the APP CENTER and FAST BIOS, installed APP first, updated it and ran it. Next I installed FAST BIOS.

When I tried to open FAST BIOS from APP CENTER it said motherboard not supported.

When I ran it from start menu, it ran and opened small GUI. First I exported existing bios to external USB, just in case.

When that was done, I selected to update BIOS from server, and it detected my motherboard, downloaded and installed latest BIOS, applied it in windows (Which i found odd, i thought this has to be done in BIOS screen on boot up?) anyway it rebooted, and it cut reboot time from 1 minutes 45 seconds to 25 seconds.

The screen it use to be stuck on is now updated and for some reason it now appear on the other monitor (have dual monitors).

When I logged into windows, it was quick, and started updating drivers for everything (including internet modem, audio, wireless keyboard/mouse, external hard drives....etc), and as I type this to update the thread, its even download new windows updates.

25 seconds is still kind of long compared to my office PC which is like 5 seconds from start to login screen.

I'm certain it's graphic card related, just not sure.

The APP CENTER is great! It has so many tools. I updated the BIOS (looks like the copy on the site has multiple updates) and now the reboot is down to 15 seconds. A huge improvement from 1 minute and 45 seconds!

However, now there's this new thing:

After it post, it shows the loading "windows 7 logo" on right monitor and then flickers and show LOGIN screen on left monitor, and then continues as normal.

Anyone thinks it's graphics card related? Any ideas?
