Hello guys! I have a Gigabyte GA H8M1 DS2 motherboard... Im thinkking of buying and overclocking the Intel Pentium G3258 ..... Can this board support it?? Even after the bios update?http://www.gigabyte.ph/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4665#bios it says here that the F6 version of the bios is Improves Intel K-sku performance.. Does that mean it can handle OC???

TIA!

For the sake of relevance on the thread title/topic and a viable answer; OP it is clearly stated in the brands product page under the CPU support list link, here

Can this board support it??
Yes the motherboard supports the G3258 with BIOS version F5.

Even after the bios update?
Yes

Does that mean it can handle OC???
For the Pentium Anniversary edition yes you can overclock but for Intel's 4th Gen Core i - K series of SKU's its not an option as the chipset, H81, was made for office or no frills environments and HTPC/entertainment duties. If you want to overclock, say, an i5-4690K or higher then you'll need to go for the Z series chipset of boards.

* I apologize for reviving this thread but the answer was much easier had than contacting Gigabyte support.
Thank you.
