Hey guys,
I have been using a gigabyte ga-p35-ds3l/s3l rev 2.0 motherboard for 2-3 years now, but recently changed my graphics card setting to run dual monitors. After I did this it rebooted and now no longer gets to Windows XP, and I am unable to get to any of the motherboard options by pressing any of the specified keys. Also, I tried to reinstall Windows all together but it does not load up at all. How do I fix this problem?

Just let me know the info you need and I will do my best to provide it.

-Thanks, Nick

I'm kind of confused by:
recently changed my graphics card setting to run dual monitors.
It doesn't have an on-board graphics setup - exactly what setting did you do? I ask, because I do this:

and my experience has been - you plug in the second monitor, it turns on... You do have to do some things in the driver, or windoze, wherever you choose, to get a multimonitor desktop, but I've never set anything to get it to just turn on, and I run Xp 32&64, Vista 32&64, and Win7RTM 32&64 - works on all of 'em. What graphics card are you using, and how are your monitors each cabled (HDMI, DVI, VGA, DisplayPort)??

I am using an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS and to configure it to work it was supposed to configure itself to run two monitors, but running off of the same Windows. The plug-ins for the screens are DVI for my secondary and D-Sub (blue) and an adapter that is grey from the graphic card.

Alright, I believe the manufacturer to be EVGA. On the card itself it says "Geforce 8800GTS P/N 320-P2-N811-AR" and in a blue box it says "320mbpci-e." Hopefully this is what your looking for. And if it matters, when I turn on the pc, i only hear one beep.

Hmm, I just tried "jump starting" the motherboard by using a paper clip and holding it against the batter and this allowed me to get past the MB splash logo and move into windows. How do I keep this problem from coming again?
