While looking for a good motherboard with USB 3.0 I came across this, but I'm wondering if it will support the OCing I'm going to be doing on it. Does anyone have any opinions/exeriences on if it is suitable for OCing? If it isn't, can I get some suggestions for a great gaming motherboard (1366)? I'm not TOO bothered about USB 3.0 as I can just get an adapter for it, but I'd really like it.

ps. Not willing to spend more then £200. (This USB 3.0 is £150, I'd buy it but I don't know if it's good for gaming.)

USB 3.0 promises the following: nothing to do with Ocing . .

* Higher transfer rates (up to 4.8 Gbps)
* Increased maximum bus power and increased device current draw to better accommodate power-hungry devices
* New power management features
* Full-duplex data transfers and support for new transfer types
* New connectors and cables for higher speed data transfer...although they are backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices and computers.

Hi.

1- The link doesn't works.
2- Gigabyte is in general a very good OC mobo, but in this case u have to be careful because that mobo ONLY support USB 3.0 when u don't use Crossfire or SLI.
3- A better mobo is the ASUS P6X58D-E, look for it, maybe the price isn't very high.
