Hi, this is for a friend.
My friend had a GTX1080ti that he ran off the GIGABYTE GB-PB500, and the card DIED yesterday. I suspect the PSU to be responsible for this.
He now wants to purchase an RTX2060 which draws less power, but, would his PSU be sufficient? He also has an i5 8400 for his CPU.
I personally would not run anything more demanding than the GTX1650 SUPER on that PSU.
I am trying to convince him to buy a Corsair CX 550, would it be an OK choice? Or is it OK to pair an RTX 2060 with that PSU
He would prefer to save money and keep the PSU.
Thanks,
Vyom
