Hello all,
I am thinking of buying a Gigabyte GTX 650(http://www.multirama.gr/products/product?pid=0701257&catid=020300), but I wanted to be sure about my purchase as the last time I didn't search well, I ended up with a low-end card. So, if I dont buy this card, my budget is about 150-170.
Generally, I want a card for gaming, and most specifically games like GTA IV, Battlefield 3, Dota 2 etc.
With the current GPU(GeForce GT 520) I am running on a 1920x1080 monitor.

My current system specs are:
CPU: Intel Core i5 2400(quadcore) @ 3.1 GHz
Mainboard: Gigabyte H67MA
RAM: 6GB DDR3(3x 2GB)
Disk Drive: Hitachi HDS721050CLA362
GPU: GeForce GT 520

Thanks in advance!

Uhm, I see that the one you recommended is actually cheaper than the one I wanted to buy, is it better ?
Edit: Also, I saw newegg dont ship stuff to Europe, and finding this model here might be a bit tricky!

Hi, I found your graphics card cheaper at e-shop.gr

GIGABYTE GTX650: http://www.e-shop.gr/show_per.phtml?id=PER.516468

I also found a Radeon 7850 too.

Asus Radeon 7850: http://www.e-shop.gr/show_per.phtml?id=PER.513571

The difference between them is that the GTX650 is an entry level card that can play most games for a few years and the radeon 7850 is a mainstream graphics card that has a great price to performance ratio which can play games for many years to come with much higher graphics settings at many current games.

The radeon competitor for the GTX650 is the radeon 7750 which you can find here: http://www.e-shop.gr/search_per.phtml?category=%CA%C1%D1%D4%C1+%C3%D1%C1%D6%C9%CA%D9%CD&filter-5622=1

You can upgrade your PC with the radeon 7750 without a PCI-E power cable from your power supply. What is your power supply?

I would have a easier time swallowing the cost of those cards knowing it was a 2 gigabyte card the card grass linked would be my pick from asus there coolers are dead silent I'm not even talking hearing air move its silent and super cool. Battlefield 3 will use up all the ram you have in a 1 gig card it will probably go inwards around 1.5-1.8 gigabytes of ram. the 7850 is quite a bit better then the 650.

That is very true. A 2GiB GDDR5 card will last many more years than a 1GiB GDDR5 card especially if it's a better value for money mainstream graphics card.

If the budget can be somehow streched to buy a 7850 graphics card it would be most highly recommended.

I see what you are telling me about the HD 7850, so maybe I can try and put together a bit more money and take a card that will last some time. Btw, my power supply is 600 Watt, would it be enough to support the 7850 ?

It is more important to know the brand and model of your power supply than what they print on the label.
