Question GIGABYTE M27Q possible clouding out of the box?

Hello,
i unboxed a GIGABYTE M27Q Rev. 2 monitor and as soon as i plugged it in and used it for a bit i noticed grey spots on the left side of the screen which will be shown in the images.

I tried diffrent kinds of color and brightness settings, tried diffrent DP and HDMI cables aswell as diffrent drivers.
The issue is only visible when the screen is turned on and you can only see it from certain angles.

That looks like the panel was subjected to pressure/force on that particular area. If that's how it's been since you got it out of the box, I'd RMA the monitor using the images(and perhaps a video of the issue) you've included above as info towards the seller/Gigabyte.

To put the thought of it being a physical damage and not one where it'll magically go away over time, is to see if you can hook the monitor up to another system/laptop so you've tried a different display output source. The next thing you can do is take microfiber clothe with a mild soapy solution and see if wiping that area helps. Mind you, the clothe should be mildly damp, not wet.

I tried both, but sadly it looked the same with my laptop as the display source, and the microfiber also didnt make a difference.
I'll reach out to gigabyte and try to get this sorted trough RMA.
