Specs
GPU: AMD Radeon 6700XT
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800x
Motherboard: ASUS Tuf Gaming B550 pro
Memory: Kingston FURY Beast DDR4 3600MHz
PSU: ASUS TUF Gaming 850W Gold PSU

Issue:
Displayport no signal, sometimes i get a signal, but every time i replug it and the display works a different problem seems to occur, the first time the max refresh rate i could display was 144hz instead of 240. The second time it worked it was 60hz, and the resolution was locked to like 1300x something, i forgot the specific resolution but it was way below 1440p.

I got this monitor around 2 months ago, the gigabyte m27q x rev 2. And have been using displayport since then.
Recently i reinstalled windows due to some network issues that are resolved now but after i reinstalled windows i had some stuttering issues in some games, specifically noticed it in Valorant, CS2, Hunt showdown, and maybe league of legends?

When the stutters happened there were no spikes in frame time, the cpu and gpu usage and heat were totally fine, frame rate was stable and was not showing any signs of dropping, the stutter looks almost like the frame is slightly jumping, it happens only when i move my mouse, sometimes consistently when i move it in the same way, so that could be just a faulty mouse or something, honestly not sure. that is not the main issue i am having right now but it could be part of it or completely sepererate so im adding it anyways.

Because i had this issue, i decided to check my DP cable, i unplugged it, it was a bit difficult to get out of the monitor, so a possibility is a damaged displayport input on the monitor, no way for me to really test it.

The HDMI input works just fine, i get 144hz and it shows a display every time. Except its a HDMI 2.0 supported monitor, so no 240hz for me.

I have reinstalled drivers with DDU like 3 times, so i am sure that is not an issue, i did a full clean install of windows to rule out any software issues, so im thinking it has to be a hardware issue at this point, i am just unsure if all 3 displayport inputs on my GPU are broken, but the HDMI works, so i dont think that makes a lot of sense.

Making me believe the Displayport input on the monitor is just broken, i ordered a displayport alternative supported USB C Him to Displayport her to figure it out, it doesnt arrive before monday so i thought id get other peoiples opinion first.

I have a tried a lot of things at this point, i dont want to list them all here, that would take a lot of time.
But i have stress tested the gpu multiple times, no real problems with it, seems to run just fine, as well as the CPU.

I have tried 3 different displayport cables as well, no luck there.

I hope i got most of the stuff covered here, if i forgot to mention something and remember i will leave it in the comments or edit the post, first time on this page so i will figure it out.

If you need any other information as well, i will post it.

Thanks in advance, hopefully i can ge this resolved.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Recently i reinstalled windows
Where did you source the installer for the OS? Did you install the OS in offline mode?

You might want to use another cable and see if the issue is the cable itself.

If you don't state what you've done we might be repeated steps you've tried that didn't work for you and had lead you to create this thread to begin with. So if anything, it's a feedback loop for you, it'll just drain time. Time you could spend towards an RMA if the panel is the issue or something else in your build.
