Question Gigabyte RTX 3060 12GB Gaming OC - GPU Error

It worked flawlessly until it was opened to replace the thermal paste. After changing the paste, the card does not work. The fans are spinning, the RGB led lights are on, but the indicator on the bottom shows a GPU error.There is no visible damage to the crystal or any element of the circuit board, it is possible that it is a matter of bad soldering or something similar. I don't understand and I don't do repairs.

Theres certainly no obvious visible damage to the card, but it's entirely possible the GPU itself was damaged when the heatsink was reinstalled. Depending on how the retention mechanism works it could be possible to over tighten the screws. It's unlikely that there is something underlying because if there was you'd have been having problems before.
