Question Gigabyte RX 590 thermal pads thickness.

I've read that for the 570 you need 0.5mm pads and 2mm for MOSFETs, but is the 570 the same as the 590? Cards and cooler look identical but I'm not sure if they're actually the same.

Does anyone know if this applies to the 590?

if its the same cooler then yeah it should be the same, the only difference is the amount of active shadders and a die shrink on the cpu which I doubt affects the size of the other hardware.
