Motherboard : Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X DDR5
Ram : 32 GB F5-6000J3040F16GX2-TZ5RK G.Skill (A2,B2)
PSU : Seasonic FOCUS PLUS 750W Platinum

OS Win11

Hello Guys,

Im currently having this setup, and I had problems with the previous RAM kit (Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz KF560C36BBEAK2-32) which was not on Mobo QVL, so I decided to change ram to something from the list.

The problem still exists that when XMP is enabled, I get random BSODs, always different, or just simply restarting PC. tomorrow I will try to reinstall Windows but I guess that wont help

would you suggest some changes in BIos with voltages or timings? im really not comfortable changing anything there

im really frustrated because the new RAM kit didn't help..

thanks a lot

Motherboard is not officially validated with the memory kit so XMP and the rated specifications can not be expected:

With XMP enabled, try a lower DRAM Frequency to see what can be stable.

DDR5-5600 is the highest tested by G.Skill so this should be able to work:

Thank you for your reply, I choose the ram from the gigabyte QVL list.

so this mean I should try 5600mhz?

Btw since than PC is on and didnt have any trouble, last time it did while playing EA FC 24, i didnt try that since

thanks al ot

What settings are currently stable?
For now, im using it on 6000mhz from the last BSOD, and its running smooth, 3days online no crash or BSOD yet, even played EA FC what caused the issue before, so it seems its probably not ram problem..
I read somewhere that if PC restart randomly it shouldnt be the faulty ram, its most likely some power problem.. so I might go for a new PSU because I dont know about how old is it, as I bought on second hand market a few years ago.

thanks you
