I started doing this thing since July of last year, and made $600. But it takes so much time and some surveys, kick you out if you don't qualify or not interested in the subject. Now i don't have time, as i am busy with college work. The $600 i used to buy gas, food and airplane ticket to New Orleans.

What they do is data collect your information, habits, tastes and other things. I watched a PBS Frontline program describing these data collectors, to specified marketeers and politicians on persuading to their favor. For example, if you enjoy smoking cigarettes, own guns, and own a ford f-150, you are consider to be a Republican. Politicians, won't waste your time persuading to vote one way or another, because you already made up your mind. These surveys are what made President Obama win the election, by focusing a narrow group of people who are undecided. Why Mitt Romemy failed with his so called "secret machine" to predict the winner. The surveyors have to gauge a correct set of question to proper diagnose the barometer so to say.

Sorry that i wrote so much, i finished an exam, and i am sick now.

Anyway, with these surveys, be patient. $1 reward is 10 min. $2 is 20 min. $3 is 30min, anything less, you are wasting your time.
 
$6 / hour for me to spill my life.. I guess if I was unemployed and I was done doing job interviews, but couldn't you make the same amount of money standing on a street corner begging for pennies?

I wouldn't mind giving Tom's my opinion for free though. The surveys are a joke, hire someone to proof read.
 
Yeah screw this garbage. I signed up and it told me that based on my information provided that I might like to go to some other survey site and that there were no questions for me. Some survey site....

I alternate between using Bill Gates and Barrack Obama's addresses. They get my junkmail.
 
I was gonna, but yeah, no link to terms and conditions, then the survey questions were asking way to much personal information. I just don't feel comfortable giving out my personal information. Especially over the internet. Why does toms need all that info?

Tried this survey stuff it's complete and total BS. Most surveys kicked me out after filling out about every question they had. Heck I've spent 45min on some surveys and they kicked me out at near completion. So I got nothing. After playing with it for several hours because i was bored I got what is equalalent to $3 I think it was, but I needed $10 to cash out on anything. Like a amazon gift card.
 
I used to do these on occasion and saved up enough to buy a couple of games. Why is it that people actually answer these things correctly. Some times if I thought it would affect something I cared about I would answer honestly but most of the time I would just say whatever it is that they wanted to here. They can only use you as much as you let them. corporate greed, greedy me.
 
can't believe toms has resorted to doing survey sites to make money.
this whole thing is a waste of time. to cash out you have to dedicate a LOT of time into this, and get way too little for your time and info. and the $10000 is a blatant lie and retard trap.

That's how far I got in the signup. Home address? Uh....no At that point, they'd have my name, email, birthdate and address. If *I* can think of nefarious stuff to do with just that amount of information, someone less reputable would have a field day.

That's incredibly annoying, especially when you're told several times in a row that there's no questions for you. Would probably be fine if you were able to finish filling the surveys and get the credits
 
I can vouch also that this is perfectly legit. I've been doing online surveys for many years, so I know what I'm talking about. In fact, the Telltom's survey site has one the quickest reward systems I've seen. For example, in two weeks of survey taking in January of this year, I collected enough credits to get $31.50. That money is transferable to either PayPal or Amazon credit or iTunes funds...and usually that same day. No other survey system I've used is that quick. And I can usually fill out enough surveys over a weekly period to collect $10.00 or more. That's good money when it adds up. Don't knock it, til you try it for a while, folks...and it's FREE!

Just curious, How much time (hours?) did you put in to collect that amount?

Well, for me, on the high end, a 300-point survey (where 100 points = $1.00) takes about 30 minutes. So to get 3150 points (equivalent to $31.50), it would take me 5 hours and 15 minutes. But recall that that time is spread out over a 2-week period and many of them are 50, 100 and 200 point-surveys.
