[SOLVED] Glass vs Plexiglass

Greetings humans,
So during my upgrade I shattered my tempered glass for my side panel. I called NZXT and they no longer make replacement pieces for the case. The PC sits under my desk so not TOO concerned how it looks. With that being said is there anything wrong with using plexiglass or glass. Not tempered glass but just regular glass. It would be super easy for me to go to Lowes and get either or. Thanks in advance.

That's up to you! Standard glass is cheaper and more scratch resistant, but plexiglass is more shatter resistant and stronger. I'm not sure how you managed to shatter yours, but I'd recommend plexiglass in case you do whatever you did again

I would be leery of plexiglass - heat.....

That is why there was tempered glass to begin with.

Google the NZXT case model. Maybe you can find a replacement case and/or side panel on ebay or the like.

Another option Lexgard https://modernplastics.com/products/lexguard/ more scratch resistant than Plexiglass but just as lite and even bulletproof. (in case you get angry at pour PC while holding a gun)
