So I recently upgraded my graphics card to a 6900 xt and I purchased the recommended Dell Dual Link DVI to Display port adapter as recommended in this thread: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/how-to-connect-to-a-120-hz-display.3268285/
But when I try to connect the adapter to my GN246HL monitor it tells me there is no signal. I have tried connecting with a non-Dual link DVI to Display port Adapter and it works fine (except for the floating box telling me to use the included dual link cable) has anyone else experienced this issue? Do I just have to get a new monitor with a display port?
