Hi everyone,

I posted a while back in this thread asking about a problem with regards to Google Chrome on Windows 7. I went back to Windows 10, but really like Windows 7. Is there really any problem in me downgrading to Windows 7 from Windows 10?

Thanks,

William

no need to be aggressive, so far your reasons for rolling back seem somewhat, to be blunt 'made up', so will rolling back actually give you want you want? If won't make it more stable, win10 is perfectly stable, win 7 will stop getting updates soon if not already, generally this would reduce stability and certainly security, it won't actually look any different, so what are you really going to all this effort for? Do you actually have an underlying hardware problem that you need resolving? Since you won't tell us why you actually want to this other than vague terms that you've not really clarified or backed up then we can't help whatever the underlying issue is.

Blimey, you're a moderator?! I wasn't being aggressive at all, just asked you a question! Anyway, Windows 7 is more up-to-date than 10 and will receive many more updates over the next few years. Also, there's a possibility of extended support for users who prefer the way Windows 7 looks and performs compared to 10.

I don't mind explaining, but I just wanted a change and missed Windows 7's look and high performance compared to 10. Yes, I have a good PC, but it's quite old now (built in December 2010).
