Good Cards for under $350?

It's the new year and it's time for me to upgrade my PC. Currently I have a GTX 550ti, an intel i5-3570k, 8gbs of ram, and a 750-watt power supply. I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card as it is rather old and can't really handle the newer games on high settings. This brings me to 2 questions I need to ask the community.

1.) Is a card for under $350 going to give me great FPS while playing games (BF3,LoL,Skyrim) on the highest settings

2.) Which cards under $350 are worth getting?

You can SLI it for more power if you want, but for gaming i think 1 is enough of this..
any game high setting

You can get either a GTX660ti or a Radeon HD7950 at that price and I'm just here to tell OP what card he can get at that budget, not here to start a 660ti vs 7950 debate.

OK the best cards under 350& you can get are amd hd7950 and nvidia gtx660

but if you put 9$ more you could get an gtx 670

a gtx 670 can handle almost every game in very high setings (LOL SKYRIM in ultra high)
