Hi guys,

I have a decent PC but I know i should be getting a lot more fps than i am right now. I have a GTX 960 and a AMD FX 8320 running Windows 8.1 with 8GB and an asus motherboard i'm not sure the exact name of. For games like counter strike global offensive that should be easy to run i get 80-120 fps MAX. i know i should get a lot more considering this isn't a big game. I have all my drivers installed, i did a factory new reset and my computer is not over heating either. If anyone could help me with this problem I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Depends a lot on your settings to be honest. If you have everything at max, you cannot expect more than 80 fps...

Try this command: -novid +mat_queue_mode 2 +fps_max 400

Also, don't play CS:GO on max settings. Medium / High is not noticably worse, but gives better performance...

I have my resolution on low 4:3 and low settings aswell. i also have those launch options already

I can't download prime95 is there something else I can do?

I downloaded it and just a bunch of windows popped up. (Workers #1-8) I dont know what to do now. My BIOS is 1.0 I think

The temp is at 79 Celcius (CPU), It says the max is 80 C so thats why its staying at 79. it went to 79 like 30 seconds after I started prime. How do I cool it down? I always keep a big fan next to it, it has about 4 fans already built it, and it has water cooling aswell.
