Ok guys, im really getting quite frustrated with my computer, trying to get Dayz standalone to run well... Just recently upgraded my graphics card as i thought that was the problem.

M5A78L-M/USB3 (MOBO)
FX-6300 (PROCESSOR)
12 GB DDR3 (RAM)
GTX 760 (GFX CARD)

Will someone please tell me what i need to do? Do i need to go intel? If so, what mobo/cpu combo do you suggest that wont break the bank?

Please help guys, at the end of my tether for this!

What kind of a budget are you working with? An i5-4460 with ASUS h97 board or i5-4690k with AsRock or Asus z97 board for overclocking. You will save money with the non K CPU and mobo, but it looks like you're in to OCing so you may want to spring for the K version. You didn't specify the kind of RAM but those boards will support DDR3 RAM.
DayZ standalone is beta and not optimized like he mentioned above. A system with a faster CPU and GPU will run it better, but you may still run in to some frame rate issues. I'm using an r9 290 paired with an i5-3570k and get good rates most of the time. I believe the Arma engine doesn't take advantage of multi core systems, and your CPU doesn't have the best cores. An i3 or i5 will help you out there if you can afford the upgrade.

Lets say i was thinking of going across to intel. What mobo/cpu combo would be best? Can i use my current RAM in my m5a78l-usb3?
