I'm definitely leaning towards picking up a 670 after a round of cpu/mob/ram upgrades.
Just came across a PNY overclocked (980mhz) board for 370$ base price with a later 40$US mail in rebate.
I'm having a tough time resisting the urge to pull the trigger on it, but am because it would be bottle-necked to hell on my current system and i'm not sure about the sound quality of this board.
