Good gaming headset to look for?

My headset crapped out. The right earcup doesn't work at all, and the left one is hanging by a thread (literally, the wire is the only thing holding it on). I think it's about time for a new one. However, with all the options I have, I can't decide what to choose. Here's what I'm looking for...
>Budget: Max ~$150
>Surround sound is preferable but I can live without it
>Suitable for gaming and music
>Quality Microphone (I talk to my friends frequently and need it for games like CSGO)
>I'm not looking for any specific color or look, just need something that meets those other criteria.
Currently a few headsets I'm looking into are the Cloud Revolver S, RIG 515HD Lava, and Logitech G35.
I know it's a lot but any help would be appreciated...thank you!

i've seen the sennheiser game one drop to around $150 when it goes on sale.

or pick up a hd518 and modmic, basically the same thing.

want virtual surround? use razer's free program or if your onboard has it built in use that. if you dont have it built in to your motherboard, a cheap soundcard like the xonar dg / dgx has it.
