Good Gaming monitor

I'm thinking about getting a new monitor for my gaming machine. From what I have read on the internet, it seems like the Samsung P2370 might be the way to go. Any one disagree with that or have any better suggestions?

Just bought a Samsung P2770H (27" version) myself, it is AWESOME! Includes HDMI port too.

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Samsung makes very good monitors, my current monitor is a 2333SW Plus and is awesome.

ASUS makes some good monitors too.

I ended up going with a Samsung SyncMaster XL2370. So far I am very impressed with it, but then again I haven't even had it for a week yet. In a week or two after I have played some games on it I will let you know how I feel.
