Good gpu for max settings on the sims 4?

My sister wants a new computer, and she wants to play at max settings on the sims 4. What gpu would be good for this? The sims 3 works better on her computer, which has integrated graphics than on my computer, which has a gtx 770. (it stutters allot on my 770, even on lowest settings)

So I'm wondering what gpu wouldn't cause the sims 4 to stutter, and would allow max settings at 60 fps.

Solution
The Sims 4 should run great on the GTX 770. What kind of CPU do you have? There might be something wrong with your computer if you have good hardware and that game still plays bad.

The cpu was an i5 3.2ghz 4 core. (dont remember name) I get 60fps, but every 10 - 20 seconds I get a stutter that lasts a second. Maybe I had vsync off, ill have to check that some day.

I have 16gb of ram, and it does this stutter thing at any settings. Even the lowest resolution. It runs smooth for about 10 seconds, then it freezes for a sec, then runs smooth again.

Already tried this, and makes no difference. And my gpu is an oc edition anyways. This only happens on the sims. It happens on no other games.

Think you'll find the Sims is very CPU intensive, for YOUR system you need to make sure it's running as little as possible in the Task bar, the HDD isn't heavily fragmented and the system is free of Virus/Malware infections, periodic stutters like that indicate limited or heavily used memory.
For your 'sis. a GTX750 or R7260X will do the job very nicely, CPU intensive as The Sims is, it's not very demanding on the graphics side.

Well my hdd has 400gb free, I have 16gb of ram, and my processor is an intel i5 4690k 4 core 3.5 ghz. edit: earlier I said I had a 3.2 ghz cpu, that was what I used to have, and I changed it out and I tried sims on it, but had the same problem.

So would a better processor fix the stutters? It's weird cause my sister's computer has allot of junk on it, way more junk than mine has, (things like sweet im) and her computer runs sims 3 without the stutters. And her specs are allot lower than mine.

I also did turn on vsync, it didn't help.

It isn't your processor, am using a 6300 on 4 cores at 3.5ghz which is worse than yours. It's a component in your build that is faulty! Try using your some of your sisters components in your build to find out what part is the problem or in vise versa. I'm trying to rule out all options

Her pc is an all in one, so there aren't any parts I could swap out. Maybe the hdd, but I have a new one, and just have to wait for win7 to come to try it out.

I do have a cheap power supply though, (retail plus). Could the psu be the problem? I already ordered a new one, so I'll be able to try it out soon.

One of your parts could be faulty such as the graphics card or the motherboard. I'm just guessing parts that could be causing the problem because I have no way of testing them. If you could swap out your parts for known good ones just to test then you could fairly easily identify what part is causing the problem.
